Donovan Hohn es periodista. Sus artículos se han publicado en Harper's Magazine, The New York Times Magazine, Outside y Best Creative Nonfiction. Ha sido merecedor del Whiting Writer's Award y del National Endowment for the Arts Creative Writing Fellowship. En la actualidad trabaja como editor senior de Harper's y vive en Nueva York con su mujer y su hijo.
